Working within a running plant that was very sensitive to dust and vibration, KDS constructed a foundation pit for a large corrugated card manufacturer. In order to overcome these obstacles, only wet processes were used. Saw cutting and lifting blocks out of the concrete rather than traditional breaking out. This was also done working 24 hour shifts over the course of 4 days as to reduce downtime for the plant to a minimum. KDS undertook all design work working closely with the machine manufacturers, installers and the client to ensure precision, accuracy and a manageable project from the client point of view.
