Working in an extremely difficult environment in terms of space and around current production we installed piled foundations to service the new production line. 

“KDS Construction have recently completed a programme of civil works for a new generation of steel coating equipment at our Tata Steel, Shotton site.
It included extensive, heavily reinforced piled foundations, steel fixing, accurate excavation, formwork and concrete finishing to high degree of accuracy.
The project was to construct new coater house while the original line was still running in a very restrictive and congested environment. This required very high standards for management, workmanship, skills and communication.
KDS onsite supervisors attended daily meetings where safety, logistics and contractor interaction issues were discussed.
Communication, emergency preparedness, experience, training & competencies were sufficiently addressed during our site access briefing and a high standard of health and safety awareness was demonstrated during the project
